DEVELOPMENT OF INTERACTIVE ELECTRONIC-TECHNICAL MANUALS (IETM)
IM Consult has accumulated extensive experience in the development of sets of interactive electronic technical manuals (IETM) of various classes (from 1 to 4) with a set of modules required for the customer.
The development is carried out as follows: a data structure, attribute information, technical manuals and other media files necessary for work are added to a 3D model created in specialized computer-aided design systems (CAD). Information from executive devices and sensors is fed into the system in real time.
All attributive information and unified links to documentation are linked to the 3D model. Thus, it is possible to visually display any part or unit with all related information.
The following modules can be included in the IETM:
ERP-system ERP (English Enterprise Resource Planning, enterprise resource planning) is a modular software that allows you to manage production operations, labor resources and material and technical values, focused on the continuous balancing and optimization of resources, providing a common model of data and processes for all areas of activity.
The ERP system allows you to store, process, transfer and open sets of interactive electronic operational and repair documentation (IETD) on the user’s computer.
As a characteristic feature of the ERP system, a principled approach to the use of a single transactional system for the vast majority of operations and organization processes is noted, regardless of the functional and territorial disunity of the places of their origin and passage, the obligation to bring all operations into a single base for subsequent processing and receiving in real time balanced plans. The modular principle of the organization allows you to implement ERP systems in stages, sequentially transferring one or more functional modules into operation, and also select only those that are relevant to the organization.
SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) is a software package designed to develop or provide real-time operation of systems for collecting, processing, displaying and archiving information about a monitoring or control object.
SCADA systems are used in all sectors of the economy, where it is required to provide operator control over technological processes in real time. This software is installed on computers and uses input-output drivers or servers to communicate with the object.
Virtual reality (English Virtual Reality) — a world created by technical means, transmitted to a person through his senses: sight, hearing, touch and others. Virtual reality simulates both exposure and responses to exposure. To create a convincing complex of sensations of reality, computer synthesis of properties and reactions of virtual reality is performed in real time.
Virtual reality objects usually behave close to the behavior of similar objects in the material world. The user can act on these objects in accordance with the real laws of physics (gravity, water properties, collision with objects, reflection, etc.).
BIM (Building Information Model) is an information model of buildings and structures, which in a broad sense means any infrastructure and industrial facilities, including engineering networks and transport.
This approach to modeling involves the collection and complex processing of information in the process of design, construction and operation of all architectural, engineering, technological, economic and other information about an object with all its interrelationships and dependencies, when the object and everything related to it are considered as a single complex. The three-dimensional model (3-d) is connected with a database, in which all the necessary attributes can be assigned to each element of the model.
As a result of the work performed, a complex system is obtained in which regulatory documents, technical manuals, multimedia resources, information from real-time sensors and scheduling and network planning are closely interconnected and available from any point of user interaction with the system.
The developed system can be used for accounting and movement of material and technical assets, for scheduling maintenance work and orders, for storing and displaying maintenance manuals and operating instructions, for developing training systems and checking the knowledge of service personnel.
3D object model on WebGL
WebGL technology allows you to create interactive 3d graphics that are compatible with most web browsers without using additional plug-ins (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer). WebGL is built on top of OpenGL ES 2.0, which allows it to be used in HTML5 canvas elements.
